About the position

We are an engineering/architecturalinterior design company based in St. Petersburg, FL is an award winning and highly rated Fast 50 Company by Tampa Bay Business Journal is seeking an experienced full-time Electrical Engineer. We require a candidate that is a licensed Electrical Engineer in the State of Florida, and member of NCEES.


We are seeking an experienced full time Structural Designer/Drafter.

Candidates should be able to work on large Senior Living/ILF/ALF & Multifamily Mid-rise, both new construction and renovation projects. Responsibilities include providing support for the Engineer in management of assigned projects, assuring the total quality of all the engineering efforts of the project in meeting the client's expectations within the project budget and schedule. Position will entail significant Revit and CADD production according to our standards, practices and policies.

Assists in calculations, design and CAD drafting of schematic, design development and construction documents for all projects with strong emphasis on Senior Living Facilities, Health Care, Multi-Family, Retail and Community projects.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Prepare plans for new or modified systems

Responsible for using CAD and Revit software for layout diagrams, schematics and construction documents

Qualifications:

Must be proficient in Revit and AutoCAD (3 – 5 years of experience).
Individual experience in Structural design build.

Experience drafting in Engineering/Architectural Field, demonstrated success in providing construction documents.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the engineering/architectural field.
Ability to learn and perform standard computer techniques, Revit and AutoCAD, functions in accordance with firm drafting and quality standards.

Good judgment and excellent communication skills.

Skilled in the analysis and design of engineering elements

Demonstrated success in design and drafting projects

Experience in working with a team of professionals.

Commitment to quality service and engineering.

Experience in Commercial, Senior Living/ILF/ALF and mid-rise; New Construction and Renovation.
