Job Description

This role focuses on structural design for modular oil and gas systems within a fast-paced fabrication and construction environment. The Structural Designer contributes to the engineering and delivery of oil and gas processing facilities and modular systems, ensuring that structural designs are accurate, efficient, and ready for fabrication with minimal delays.

Responsibilities

  • Design structural modules for oil and gas systems, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Develop detailed structural drawings and models that are ready for release to the fabrication shop.
  • Utilize CADWorx to produce detailed structural designs without requiring on-the-job training in the software.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create precise drafting deliverables that support structural design requirements.
  • Review and adjust designs based on feedback from fabrication, construction, and other project stakeholders.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design roles.
  • Proven experience in oil and gas structural design, with a strong focus on modular design.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed structural drafting.
  • Demonstrated ability to use CADWorx effectively for structural design without the need for on-the-job training.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision and quickly become productive on new projects.
  • Experience working with steel structures and related structural components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
