Job description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to support industrial and commercial building projects. This role is focused on structural analysis, design, calculations, construction documents, and coordination using tools such as RISA, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design structural systems for industrial, commercial, and facility-based projects.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and design documentation.
  • Analyze and design steel framing, platforms, supports, foundations, concrete structures, and underground structures.
  • Support foundation design including spread footings, mats, deep foundations, and equipment foundations.
  • Review drawings and models using Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit coordination files, or related project tools.
  • Coordinate structural work with architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and construction teams.
  • Review existing conditions, field constraints, and constructability concerns.
  • Respond to RFIs, submittals, design changes, and construction-related technical questions.
  • Support quality reviews to ensure structural deliverables are accurate, coordinated, and buildable.


Required Experience

  • Structural engineering experience on industrial, commercial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or facility projects.
  • Experience with RISA or similar structural analysis software.
  • Strong understanding of steel design, concrete design, foundations, and structural load paths.
  • Ability to read and develop structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Experience using Bluebeam for drawing review, markups, and document coordination.
  • Ability to coordinate with multi-discipline teams and support construction phase questions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering preferred.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Navisworks for model coordination, clash review, or constructability review.
  • Background with concrete tunnels, vaults, pits, equipment foundations, access platforms, or heavy industrial structures.
  • Familiarity with AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, IBC, and related structural design codes.
  • EIT or PE preferred.
  • Experience supporting projects from design through construction administration.
