Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stroke/Telemetry unit position requiring neuro experience, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in the greater Decatur, GA area.

Details
  • Position is located in a hospital Stroke/Telemetry unit
  • Day shift, 12-hour shifts
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
  • Neuro experience required
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
  • Former permanent Emory or Houston Methodist staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if time off does not fall on or near a holiday; RTO is limited to 3 days if it falls on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday RTO request is permitted, and consecutive holiday RTO days will not be approved
