Join a growing neuroscience program at a leading regional hospital as a BC/BE Neurosurgeon. Saint Joseph Medical Center, a Joint Commisssion-accredited 489-bed flagship facility and the premier hospital in the Joliet area, delivers comprehensive specialty care - including advanced neurosurgery and spine services - to a vibrant southwest suburban Chicago community. Position Highlights:

• Join an established, multidisciplinary neuro team including neurosurgery, neurology, and interventional radiology • Access to advanced imaging, biplane angiography suites, and comprehensive stroke program resources • Competitive compensation and benefits package • Hospital: Level II Trauma Center, High Performing in key procedures/conditions • Suburb of Chicago, home to a thriving healthcare ecosystem with over 100 incubators, accelerators, and world-class institutions

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neurosurgical interventions, including tumor resections, spinal fusions, vascular procedures, and trauma surgeries • Diagnose and manage neurological disorders through comprehensive evaluations, imaging interpretations, and personalized treatment plans • Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists in our integrated care model to optimize patient outcomes • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities aligned with Prime Healthcare's commitment to evidence-based practices

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurosurgery • Eligible for Illinois medical license • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and program growth

Pay Transparency

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $750,000 to $950,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
