Procedure CoordinatorLocation: Peninsula Pain ClinicEmployment Type: Full-TimeMonday- Thursday 8am -5pm, Fridays 8am-1pm pay scale- $21-$25 depending on experience  Peninsula Pain Clinic is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Procedure Coordinator to join our team. In this key role, you'll be the hub that keeps our procedure schedule running smoothly - supporting patients, providers, and clinical staff every step of the way. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule patient procedures from start to finishObtain and manage prior authorizations, including submitting documentation and insurance follow-upCommunicate clearly and compassionately with patients and insurance carriersGather and review required medical records and documentationConfirm procedure dates, times, and readiness with patientsReview pre-procedure instructions to ensure patients feel preparedEnsure all requirements are completed prior to procedure dayMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Partner with providers and clinical staff to support efficient workflow Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (additional healthcare education a plus)Experience in a medical office, surgical scheduling, or prior authorization role preferredStrong understanding of insurance verification and authorization processesExcellent organizational and time-management skillsFriendly, professional communication and customer service skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinic environmentComfortable working in EMR systems and standard office softwareWork EnvironmentThis role is based in a busy outpatient clinic where teamwork, communication, and attention to detail are essential to providing a seamless patient experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy coordinating moving parts, and take pride in delivering excellent patient service, we'd love to connect with you.
