We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Strive Rehabilitation Services. Our 5,000 square feet state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to providing high-quality care with a focus on advanced sports medicine and rehabilitation techniques. We take pride in our team of specialized professionals who work collaboratively to support our diverse patient population. Our practice is grounded in evidence-based methods and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Work Environment

The role is based onsite in our modern rehabilitation center, which is well-equipped with the latest therapeutic technology and equipment to support effective treatment. You will be working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our facility promotes teamwork and collaboration, with systems in place for efficient patient care management and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and establish tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, exercises, and functional training techniques to facilitate recovery.
  • Maintain a manageable patient load, typically one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, focused attention to each individual.
  • Regularly track and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients on their conditions and the importance of their rehabilitation journey while motivating them to remain engaged in their therapy.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to create educational materials and support tools that align with treatment goals.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with fellow healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily caters to a diverse population of individuals with orthopedic needs, mainly those with private medical insurance. Many of our patients are recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions seeking to reclaim their mobility. You will work closely with athletes, active individuals, and everyday clients striving to enhance their physical capabilities.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • No disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
  • Exceptional manual therapy skills demonstrated through previous experience.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing effective exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, including WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of sports-related injuries and treatment protocols.
  • Training in additional modalities such as dry needling, cupping, or advanced manual therapy techniques is highly valued.
