Strive Force Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. In this full-time role based in Miami, Florida, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain mobility and independence following injuries or surgeries. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing segmented treatment plans tailored to meet the rehabilitative needs of orthopedic patients.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, providing insights into their responses to therapy, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients on home exercise routines and proper body mechanics to enhance their recovery process.
  • Maintain clear communication with supervising Physical Therapists regarding patient status, treatment efficacy, and collaborative goal-setting.
  • Uphold a safe and sanitary clinical environment, ensuring all equipment is cleaned and organized, enhancing the patient experience.
  • Provide encouragement and motivation to patients, fostering a positive mindset essential for their rehabilitation.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role will be on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries (like joint replacements), sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be interacting with a diverse group of individuals, from young athletes to older adults, ensuring that each patient receives tailored therapy that meets their specific needs and lifestyle goals.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida (or eligibility for licensure).
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited PTA program.
  • A strong interest or experience in orthopedic physical therapy, showcasing a passion for helping patients regain their functional abilities.
  • Demonstrated skills in therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.
