Pavement Marking Striper

Texas Site Services, LLC (TSS)

Position Summary

Texas Site Services, LLC (TSS) is seeking dependable and safety-conscious individuals for the position of Pavement Marking Striper. This role requires general knowledge of the services provided by TSS and the ability to perform a variety of labor, equipment, and pavement marking tasks. Candidates must be attentive to detail, committed to workplace safety, and able to work effectively with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor duties and assist with pavement marking and striping operations as assigned.

  • Maintain knowledge of all scopes of work provided by TSS.

  • Complete specialized tasks, including duties that may require on-the-job training.

  • Apply pavement markings including parking lot striping, roadway striping, stenciling, curb painting, and layout work.

  • Operate striping machines, blowers, grinders, pressure washers, and other related equipment.

  • Prepare surfaces for striping by cleaning, measuring, and layout of markings.

  • Load and unload striping materials, traffic control devices, and equipment safely.

  • Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with coworkers.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment after each shift.

  • Perform general maintenance and inspections of assigned vehicles and equipment.

  • Wear all required safety gear at all times, including hard hats, safety vests, eye protection, gloves, and steel-toe boots.

  • Assist with traffic control setup and maintain safe work zones.

  • Attend all required TSS training sessions and safety meetings.

  • Utilize a working cell phone to receive job schedules, assignments, and updates.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Valid driverโ€™s license required.

  • Previous pavement marking or striping experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding labor.

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment.

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required.

  • Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings to ensure safety.

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

  • Candidates may be subject to drug testing at the discretion of the employer.

  • Must maintain professional conduct on all job sites.
