Associate, Strategy


This role supports the agency’s strategy function, spanning research, insights, planning, and measurement. The Associate, Strategy helps translate data, audience insights, cultural trends, and business challenges into actionable recommendations that inform account strategy, creative briefs, and integrated communications programs.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research across industries, audiences, competitors, and cultural trends to inform earned media and integrated marketing strategy.
  • Synthesize findings into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Support development of strategic creative briefs, messaging frameworks, and integrated marketing and communications plans.
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to shape campaign ideas and provide strategic direction, guiding how those ideas come to life across channels.
  • Contribute to new business efforts by providing research, insights, and strategic approaches that strengthen pitch narratives.
  • Shape measurement plans by guiding teams on KPIs, tools, and approaches to understand performance and inform optimization.
  • Develop internal and client-facing presentations, POVs, plans, and other communications.


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Structured thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving instincts.
  • Strong research, synthesis, and insight development abilities.
  • Solid writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to shift between competing priorities.
  • Fast learner with a genuine interest in strategy, marketing, communications, and PR.
  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing, PR, or strategy; agency experience preferred.

This role follows a hybrid model, with a minimum of two days per week in-office and/or in-person opportunities for team collaboration, industry or networking events, and client or new business meetings. These expectations may evolve over time.
