Position Summary

The IB Temporary - Talent Sourcing Partner is a temporary position responsible for partnering closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to proactively identify, engage, and build strong talent pipelines for key and critical roles across the organization. This role will develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify highly qualified talent, with an emphasis on specialized and hard-to-fill positions within the biotechnology and life sciences industry. The Talent Sourcing Partner will serve as a strategic sourcing resource to the Talent Acquisition Team, helping to strengthen candidate pipelines for both current and anticipated hiring needs.

Essential Functions

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Partners to understand business needs, priority positions, critical skill sets, and target candidate profiles.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies for key, critical, specialized, and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, industry associations, talent databases, referrals, and other relevant sourcing channels.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines to support current openings and anticipated future hiring needs.
  • Conduct targeted talent mapping and market research to identify relevant companies, talent pools, and sources of specialized expertise.
  • Develop compelling and personalized candidate outreach strategies that effectively communicate the organization's opportunities and value proposition.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and, as appropriate, preliminary qualification to assess candidate interest and alignment with position requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective candidates to support long-term talent pipeline development.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners to provide insights regarding talent availability, market conditions, sourcing challenges, and candidate trends.
  • Support sourcing strategies designed to broaden candidate pools and reach qualified talent from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate and sourcing activity within the applicant tracking system and other recruiting tools.
  • Track and communicate sourcing effectiveness, including outreach activity, candidate response rates, qualified prospects, pipeline strength, and conversion into the recruiting process.
  • Continuously evaluate sourcing channels and approaches to identify opportunities to improve pipeline quality and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Provide additional sourcing and talent acquisition support based on evolving business and organizational priorities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition, with demonstrated expertise in proactive candidate identification and engagement required.
  • Experience developing talent pipelines for specialized, technical, and/or hard-to-fill positions required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools, platforms, and techniques to identify and engage passive talent strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting talent mapping and researching relevant talent markets and competitor organizations strongly preferred.

Working Environment / Physical Environment

  • Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday, within standard business hours. Flexibility is available with manager approval.

The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

$4,547.00 (entry-level qualifications) to $5,000.00 (highly experienced) bi-weekly

Premium Market (Premium markets include Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, & Boston)

$5,247.00 (entry-level qualifications) to $5,770.00 (highly experienced) bi-weekly
