Job description

Leads and develops Solution Design teams to drive sales wins, elevate technical capabilities, and increase engagement. Partners with the Director to execute strategic goals, ensures solution quality and risk mitigation, and maintains strong alignment with Sales, Delivery, and Corporate Development. Sponsors sales opportunities to deliver timely, high-quality technical and commercial recommendations that maximize customer satisfaction and reduce risk.
Job Functions:
  • Lead and evolve the Solution Design practice
  • Hire, coach, and develop Solution Designers; drive engagement and retention
  • Sponsor sales opportunities to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality solutions
  • Ensure strong collaboration with Sales Partners and Delivery teams
  • Provide targeted support to projects at risk (schedule, budget, or quality)
  • Oversee onboarding and ongoing technical training
  • Maintain balanced staffing and high team utilization
  • Perform required administrative and people-management responsibilities

Travel Requirements:
  • 25% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)

Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering (or related degree) with 7+ years of relevant practical business experience. Master's degree is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
