The Senior Program Manager, Global Sourcing Strategy & Transformation will lead visible transformation initiatives that advance Walmart's Sourcing & Procurement priorities. This role serves as a strategic program lead responsible for driving enterprise initiatives from concept through implementation, while establishing governance structures that enable decision-making. This individual will operate with a high degree of ownership, leading cross-functional programs spanning teams, business units, and markets. Success requires the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence senior leaders, solve complex problems, and drive accountability without direct authority. The ideal candidate combines strong program management expertise with strategic thinking, executive presence, and focus on outcomes.

The Strategy & Transformation team is the driving force behind Walmart’s Global Sourcing & Procurement organization. It partners across functions including Sourcing, Merchandising, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, and international markets to translate enterprise priorities into measurable outcomes. The team leads strategic initiatives, pilots high-impact programs, and scales proven solutions through disciplined execution and structured governance. Focused on delivering transparency, accountability, and rigor, the team ensures the organization’s top investments are executed effectively, fostering collaboration and driving enterprise-wide impact aligned with Walmart’s business goals.
What you'll do:
Lead Strategic Transformation Initiatives 
  • Drive high-priority programs that support Sourcing & Procurement objectives
  • Translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Drive Governance & Executive Visibility 
  • Establish and own governance, executive updates, and reviews
  • Provide visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and impact
Manage Cross-Functional Execution 
  • Coordinate efforts across Sourcing, Merchandising, Product Development, Finance, and other teams
  • Drive alignment, accountability, and issue resolution
Deliver Scalable Solutions 
  • Develop operating models, playbooks, and ways of working that can be scaled across the org
  • Ensure adoption and sustainability of new processes and capabilities
Enable Data-Driven Decision Making 
  • Leverage data, analytics, and tools to improve execution and decision quality
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and org effectiveness

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
