Job description

Our client in Lowell, AR is currently hiring for a Sr. Program Manager. This is a fully onsite opportunity supporting strategic electronic and contract manufacturing programs. The ideal candidate will have experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, Customer Produced Product Transfers (CPPT), cross-functional teams, RFQ processes, and complex manufacturing programs from quote through production.
Pay - Competitive compensation based on years of experience, manufacturing experience, program management experience, and financial acumen
Location - Lowell, AR (100% Onsite)
Schedule - Monday through Friday with flexibility on start times to support global customer collaboration
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) and Customer Produced Product Transfer (CPPT) processes for strategic manufacturing programs.
• Provide regular program status updates and progress reports to executive leadership.
• Evaluate existing NPI processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional launch teams across engineering, operations, finance, quality, and manufacturing.
• Develop and track action items, project milestones, and launch readiness activities.
• Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution of critical issues.
• Manage strategic quoting activities and oversee the Request for Quote (RFQ) process.
• Perform financial analysis including margin analysis, costing, profitability, and program performance tracking.
• Negotiate and administer customer contracts while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and support successful program execution.
• Generate and maintain reports related to cost, quality, delivery performance, revenue plans, and product roadmaps.
• Mentor Program Managers and support development within the assigned market segment.
• Coordinate program activities from initial quote through production launch and ongoing manufacturing support.
• Utilize Microsoft Project, Excel, and other tools to manage schedules, reporting, and program documentation.
• Drive communication across all levels of the organization and with external customers.
Qualification Requirements
• 5+ years of Program Management or Project Management experience.
• 2+ years of experience within a contract manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Strong understanding of Customer Produced Product Transfer (CPPT) programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple complex programs simultaneously.
• Experience managing RFQ processes and strategic customer quotes.
• Ability to perform financial analysis including margin evaluation, costing, and profitability assessments.
• Experience negotiating and managing customer contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and manufacturing operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering reports, and manufacturing requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of business processes from sales through production.
• Experience within electronic manufacturing environments is highly preferred.

• No experience with NPI or product launch activities.
• No experience leading cross-functional manufacturing programs.
