Job description

This position is responsible for ownership of all assigned products, with key responsibilities spanning five core areas: partner relationship management, operations management and support, financial oversight, and business strategy development.
As the key subject matter expert, the Strategic Partnership Manager helps drive product vision and strategy, collaborating across distribution partners and internal teams-including executive leadership, sales, marketing, and accounting-to ensure alignment and execution of strategic product initiatives.
The Strategic Partnership Manager empowers the sales team to effectively promote offerings and drive revenue growth. This role also contributes to near term business goals by identifying market trends, optimizing product performance, and fostering strong partnerships that support sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Product & Partner Relationship Management
  • Take ownership of assigned products and partner relationships.
  • Establish deep expertise in your assigned products and serve as the go-to-resource.
  • Foster and manage relationships with key partner contacts, including leadership, to ensure ongoing strategic alignment.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on how to effectively work with Allied Reps.
  • Ensure partner and Allied reps are working cohesively and partner's actions are complementary to Allied's.
  • Monitor and manage partner quality including actual product performance, sales representative performance, and company actions.
  • Understand and manage product/program lifecycle.
  • Serve as primary resource for business and statistical analysis, delivering key insights to senior leadership Regional Sales SVPs, EVP & SVP of Product, and other stakeholders.
  • Report and assist with escalated client and partner issues.

Operations, Compliance, and Financial Oversight
  • Ensure adherence to compliance regulations/requirements.
  • Manage and monitor monthly product financials to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Conduct provider commission audits and resolve any identified issues.
  • Analyze and explain variances, recommend and implement remediation plans.
  • Control expenses and adhere to the established budget.
  • Understand and support all partnership agreement terms, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Provide insights and data to support provider contract negotiations, including identification of new product opportunities, acquisition or mergers that may require new contracts or amendments.
  • Assist with the gathering of data for internal and external meetings.
  • Execute provider performance management efforts including marketing and reporting initiatives, to maximize margin and revenue opportunities.

Business Strategy Development
  • Work both independently and alongside key stakeholders to understand client and market needs to recommend and lead execution of strategic product education and marketing plans to support product growth.
  • Create, update, and distribute product information and marketing material to support marketing plans and drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal department stakeholders to ensure effective execution of strategy plans.
  • Identify relevance, trends, and competitive differentiators to effectively communicate information to drive product education and marketing strategies.
  • Identify key target markets and ideal account profiles to lead or support the development of targeted prospect lists, scorecards, and related tools to enhance opportunity visibility and accelerate sales efforts.
  • Oversee, maintain, and monitor lead registration and pipeline tracking and reporting.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Public Relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-4 years of work-related experience.
  • Experience in financial services industry is preferred.
