Description
We are seeking a well-connected, tenacious, and results-driven sales professional with established relationships in the workers' compensation industry. The ideal candidate will be independent, persistent, highly skilled, and personable, with a proven ability to build trust and generate new business.
To be considered, candidates must have prior experience selling durable medical equipment, nursing services, or related products and services to third-party administrators, insurance carriers, or other workers' compensation stakeholders.
Position Summary
Our primary products are workers' compensation services, such as durable medical equipment, home health, vehicle modifications, and pharmacy benefits management.
The VP, Strategic Partnership Manager will be responsible for developing, strengthening, and maintaining relationships with both new and existing business accounts across multiple states. The primary initial focus will be California, Nevada, and Arizona, with expansion into additional markets as existing relationships grow and new partnerships are established.
This individual must reside and work within the assigned territory and will be responsible for managing that territory through a combination of in-person travel, ongoing account engagement, and digital communication.
They are responsible for growing profitability by establishing new clients, staying up to date with sales and contracting strategies, and actively seeking industry knowledge. Training for this position includes an understanding of our Coordination department and sales story. Initial and ongoing training, along with various resources, are offered to ensure the Strategic Partnership Manager is equipped with the materials needed to be knowledgeable and successful in their role.
Essential Functions
Maintain existing client base
Open new accounts in assigned territory
Renew existing and negotiate new contracts with clients
Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry meetings in and out of your assigned geographical territory
Formalize individual territory plan
Learn and live our corporate culture and values
Manage outbound calls and special campaign initiatives for assigned region
Conduct needs analysis across our client population showing analytics that support using ConservCare
Sell across multiple product lines
Generate leads to optimize sales
Research leads and send out emails to prospects
Database maintenance
Other special projects and job duties as assigned
Job Type
Full-time position, requiring travel in the assigned region, surrounding area, and elsewhere as needed.
Compensation Plan
Base salary, bonus plan, car allowance, phone allowance, all approved expenses paid, and benefits.
Requirements
Must live in California, Nevada, or Arizona.
Sales and/or marketing experience in the workers' compensation industry is a must
Enjoy working independently with an upbeat and positive attitude
Self-motivated and able to manage time and resources
Demonstrate proficient computer skills and use of basic office equipment
Able to focus on the assigned tasks
Effective verbal and written communication skills with an outgoing personality
High School diploma/GED equivalent required, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to work in the U.S.
Must have reliable transportation and be able to use air transportation with ease
Must not take "no" for any answer - other than for it to mean "not right now"
