Position Summary
The Senior Strategic Operations Analyst is responsible for leading and overseeing complex operational and business initiatives that drive organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic execution. This role applies advanced project management principles and business acumen to plan, organize, coordinate, and control resources, processes, and timelines across multiple initiatives and cross-functional teams. The role will support the Audit, Legal, Risk, and Security teams in Bridgestone.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex operational, strategic, and business transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and key deliverables to ensure successful execution and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor project performance, including budget, staffing, risks, dependencies, and milestones, providing regular updates and recommendations to leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve project risks and operational challenges, implementing mitigation strategies to support successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive project execution, facilitate decision-making, and ensure accountability for results.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance standards, quality requirements, and project management best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships and deliverables, integrating external contributions into project plans and ensuring performance expectations are met.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Project Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic operations, business operations, project management, management consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, business process improvement, and operational excellence principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience analyzing operational data, developing insights, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
