Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 6 years of relevant work experience in campaign optimizations, insights development/market research and marketing analytics. Master's Degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred. Experience in business aviation industry preferred. Position Purpose: As a manager on the brand management and strategy team, you will be a key partner to marketing leadership, influencing strategies to maximize acquisition, retention, and customer contribution. You will be expected to provide strategic insights, both marketing analytics and customer research that result in actionable recommendations, impact our marketing strategy and strengthen our data driven culture. You will drive development of comprehensive fact-based insights and performance measurement strategies and reporting to optimize customer acquisition, retention and contribution. The ideal candidate will have AI acumen and use AI to accelerate insights. You will be an authentic "voice of the customer," ensuring the needs, attitudes and behaviors of Gulfstream customers and potential future customers are considered when strategic decisions and investments are made.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales and Customer Support leaders to develop a deeper understanding of Gulfstream’s customer segments, competitors and products to enhance business acumen and to support the global growth strategy including driving an understanding and appreciation of the nuanced needs for each regional market .
  2. Develop and report on key performance indicators and success metrics to inform and optimize future campaigns and customer engagement strategies and executions. Manages test and learn capabilities for campaign improvement. Provides actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance. Utilize analytics tools to track, measure, and report on key performance indicators .
  3. Leverage primary and secondary research to evaluate market conditions, customer trends, market segments and regions, and Gulfstream competitors, in order to understand key perceptions, motivations and drivers, and identify unmet needs.
  4. Design and manage custom qualitative and quantitative research studies that answer prevalent business questions and guide strategic initiatives leveraging classical and hybrid methodologies .
  5. Translate research findings into insights and actionable recommendations that resonate with and persuade the audience to act .
  6. Identifying, recommending, and coordinating improvements in our data environments and performance measurement strategies, to enable more robust and streamlined reporting capabilities .
  7. Offer strategic thought partnership to stakeholders to identify opportunities for Gulfstream, and cultivate relationships .
  8. Ensure objectives are being met on time while maintaining the quality and integrity of the work .
Additional Functions:
  1. Build insights fluency in Gulfstream’s leaders and their teams to drive competitive advantage .
  2. Manage a team and ensure their professional development by providing guidance and mentoring .
  3. Manage department budget .
  4. Plan, host and facilitate creative problem solving and ideation workshops to further define opportunities and create action plans against curated insights .

  3. Customer insights experience supporting brand, new business and product development.
  4. Experience in executing quality quantitative and qualitative research studies such as customer journey mapping, segmentation, brand health tracking, advertising testing and product evaluation.
  5. Experience in developing global insights and cultural sensibility.
  6. Collaborate and ideate with stakeholders inside and outside of immediate team.
  7. Can take the insights and implications found in the data and relate them through narratives.
  8. Collaborative mindset, enthusiastic and passionate about generating insights and driving action.
  9. Project and research partner management skills.
  10. Systems thinking and experience designing AI workflows that identify new insights and a deeper understanding of marketing performance.
  11. Previous record of delivering impact with focus and fluency in translating analysis into action; must be articulate and have experience translating complex analyses into audience-appropriate digestible, practical insights.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
