Your responsibilities include collaborating with sales staff and a variety of vendors to broker deals. You may work business-to-business or business-to-customer. Job description

Company Description

Guard Llama is a young, energetic start-up based in Chicago making an enormous impact on the personal security market. We provide what we like to refer to as a "mobile panic button." "But what exactly is a mobile panic button?" you ask. Wow, what an insightful question. You must be incredibly smart and good looking.

A mobile panic button is a small, bluetooth remote with a single button. It is designed to look like a car key fob and it pairs with our app on your smartphone. In an emergency, you press the button on the remote, and it triggers our app to send an immediate, emergency distress signal to our 24/7 dispatch center. Our dispatch then send the police to your exact GPS location.

Job Description

Our success depends upon an outside sales team delivering in-person presentations of our service to real estate agents during their weekly or monthly sales meetings. But this success is dependent upon our ability to arrange these presentations in advance. We are looking for motivated, experienced individuals with backgrounds in phone sales, marketing, and/or telecommunications to call and help us book these meetings. The ideal candidate will be personable, persuasive, and motivated to make 50+ calls a day.

Requirements:

Experience in sales, marketing, or telecommunications

Able to work from our office in Merchandise Mart

Familiarity with or ability to learn digital calling platforms

Compensation:

This is a draw against commission-based position. Candidates will be paid $50-$100 for each meeting booked. You will be expected to book a minimum of 15 meetings each week. Obviously, the more meetings you book, the greater your compensation.

Qualifications

Entry level or 1+ years of proven success in a sales environment

Experience selling over the phone and cold calling various types of businesses, local merchants a plus

Demonstrate high degrees of diligence and accountability, with evidence of personal results

A balance of coachability and confidence that makes people jealous at how great of a person you are

Comfortable in a competitive environment, with evidence of personal ambition to improve

Abnormally strong negotiation and consultation skills

Captive learner, excited about the opportunity to develop consultative sales skills
