At Schebler, our success is shared, and our employees play a crucial role in driving our growth and prosperity.The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for promotion and sales of Schebler chimney products to engineering firms and contractors, as well as ensuring market expansion and increased revenue through distribution partnerships. This position requires a strategic approach to business development, relationship management, and technical sales expertise to maximize opportunities within the assigned territory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Formalize and implement strategic partnership plans with distribution partners to drive sales.Maintain and improve sales performance of distributors within territory.Establish regular communication with distribution partners and communicate strategic partnership plan reports to Sales Manager.Build relationships with distribution partners, contractors, engineers, and other key partners in designated markets across the country.Coordinate company activities with distribution partners including education, marketing,business planning and client engagements.Conduct and manage on-site and web-based training targeted to distribution partners and customers.Track and analyze current and past quote data to accurately assess future sales opportunities and forecast future growth.Assist customers with escalations for technical support issues and engineering and design assistance.Provide pre-sales assistance to distribution partners and their network of customers.Collaborate with executive management on sales processes, strategy, and sales and marketing budgets.Participate in industry trade shows and seminars.Provide technical consultation to internal sales staff, engineering firms, building owners, and boiler manufacturers.Assist in development and implementation of strategic marketing plans with Marketing Manager.Assist with creation of sales presentations and other documentation and materials.Assist with research and development of new products and offerings.Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, Certifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.Experience: At least 2 years of related product or sales experience required.Other: Remote (IA, IL, MN) or hybrid position.  Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong organizational skills and detail oriented.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Must be able to explain technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to apply engineering, technology, and other related principles to product sales.Strong mechanical and technical knowledge, skills, and abilityPersonable, outgoing style with the ability to interact with varying levels of management and field employees, customers, and general publicComputer skills on a variety of office software packages.Other Requirements: Must have the ability to communicate information in speaking and writing so others will understand.
