Job description

CNC Machinist - 1st shift
Location: Stanchfield, MN
Shift: 1st Shift (7am - 3:30pm)
Pay: $25-40/hour based on experienceย 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision parts
  • Program edits and operate machines using Fanuc controls (Mazak experience a plus)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for new and existing jobs
  • Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks
  • Measure and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments
  • Maintain tight tolerances and ensure all parts meet quality standards
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues to minimize downtime
  • Accurately document production output and inspection results
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company standards

Qualifications:

  • 3โ€“5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • High school diploma or GED required (technical certification preferred)
