Job description

What You'll Get to Do
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects from award through completion, ensuring successful execution through coordination with customers, internal teams, and external partners. This role requires technical expertise in glazing systems, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to project management and customer service.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing various project scopes, including engineering, storefronts, curtain walls, operable windows, doors, unitized systems, skylights, and glass.
  • Maintain seamless communication with customers and internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the project scope is consistent with quotes and design needs
  • Develop and maintain a detailed schedule of deliverables based on project timelines and keep organized and comprehensive records of all project-related documents

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the curtain wall industry, with a strong grasp of glazing systems, field installation, and product fabrication.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple products across various manufacturing plants.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, design, or engineering (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Word; familiar with ERP systems and standard project management tools.
  • Skilled in writing technical documentation related to product design, performance, and installation.
  • Deep understanding of architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, and the ability to define scope accurately.
  • Preferred knowledge of products including curtain wall, storefront, window wall, doors, operable windows, unitized curtain wall, and glass.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of office and plant personnel. Strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and business partners at project sites and offices.
  • Maintains excellent documentation, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrates a fair, firm, and friendly negotiation style.
  • Upholds a safety-first mindset and actively contributes to a culture of mutual support and accountability within the workplace.
