STORE RUNNER/MATERIAL HANDLER
Full time; Hours between 6 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 5 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday (rotating).
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
Pay: $16/hr with incentive pay when criteria is met.
We are seeking a STORE RUNNER/MATERIAL HANDLER. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity that reports to the Store Manager. A synopsis of this position is taking care of customers' needs, both in person and on the phone, as well as stocking shelves and going to the warehouse to retrieve products that are not kept in the store (a few more details are below). There is a lot of diversity in this role!
Essential Job Duties:
- Assist customers by answering questions, giving them direction or advice in person or on the phone and take product orders.
- Keep the store fully stocked, including labeling items and rotating product.
- Take special orders and follow through to completion with the customer.
- Maintain a clean, dusted, and well-organized store.
- Keep register area organized and supplied with bags, boxes, register tape, cash on hand, etc.
- Help customers carry purchases to their vehicles.
