POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Qcells Service Solutions('QSS') is a residential solar asset operation and maintenance service company powered by Qcells. QSS set up a design standard and installation guide for EnFin TPO and provide a specialized Quality assurance review service. QSS monitors all assets proactively to resolve any issue, so that maximizes homeowner experience and capital investor's value.
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Commercial Operations to lead and optimize procurement activities for our portfolio of residential solar assets. This role will oversee the daily operations, commercial strategies, and asset performance management for our portfolio of financed solar assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinating between technical teams, financial stakeholders, and external partners to ensure optimal operational efficiency, compliance, and revenue generation. This position will be based out of Irvine, CA, Houston, Tx or remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize asset performance and financial returns.
  • Assist with expansion into new product lines.
  • Oversee contract management, including service agreements, warranties, and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze asset performance data, identify issues, and coordinate resolution efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with finance, engineering, and sales teams to align operational plans with company goals and investor expectations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational KPIs, financial metrics, and project status to senior leadership.
  • Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and best practices across operations.
  • Manage budget, resource planning, and vendor negotiations to optimize operational costs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in asset management, operations, or project management within the renewable energy sector, particularly solar or distributed generation.
  • Proven leadership experience managing commercial operations teams.
  • Strong understanding of solar O&M, project financing, and contractual frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and process improvements.
