Furniture Store Manager Del Sol Furniture | Mesa, AZ
We hear it all the time from managers who come to us from the big box chains they stay because of our culture, our hours, and because they finally feel like they own something.
Del Sol Furniture is a locally owned, family-operated furniture retailer proudly serving the Phoenix metro since 1997. Four beautiful showrooms, a loyal customer base, and a culture built on values we actually live not just hang on a wall.
We're looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager for our Mesa showroom at 1346 W. Southern Ave.
Locally Owned. Family Operated. Flat Structure.

At Del Sol you're not buried under layers of corporate hierarchy. You report to our District Manager, who reports directly to our CEO. That's it. No regional managers, no corporate committees, no waiting weeks for a decision that should take an afternoon.
Your ideas get heard. Your decisions get made. When you see an opportunity to improve something you have the authority to act on it and the support of leadership behind you.
If you've spent time in big box retail waiting for corporate approval on decisions that should take 5 minutes, you'll feel the difference on day one.
Better Hours Than the Big Box Chains

  • 42 hours, 5 days a week no mandatory 50-60 hour weeks
  • Sundays 11am5pm only
  • Work-life balance that most furniture retail managers never get
What You'll Earn & Get:

  • Base salary: $60,000 $85,000 per year + performance bonuses tied to store results
  • Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance
  • Disability Insurance
  • Paid Vacation, Holidays & Sick Time
  • Generous Employee Discount
What You'll Own:

  • Full day-to-day operation of the Mesa showroom
  • Leading and developing your sales team to consistently hit revenue targets, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and maintain operational excellence across the showroom
  • Coordinating with warehouse, delivery, operations, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless experience from sale to delivery
  • Training your team on product knowledge, financing options, and add-on sales
  • Resolving customer escalations while protecting the Del Sol reputation
  • Maintaining showroom appearance, inventory awareness, and daily coverage
  • Reporting to our District Manager on store performance and opportunities
Who We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years retail store management experience furniture, mattress, appliance, or similar big-ticket preferred
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets and developing a team
  • Strong floor presence you lead by example, not from the back office
  • Comfortable in a commission-driven sales environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred approximately 1 in 3 of our customers prefer Spanish
  • Reliable, accountable, and ready to take ownership of results
Our Core Values We Live These Every Day

We hire, coach, and evaluate our entire team including managers against six core values:
  • Integrity Do the right thing, always. Open and honest communication builds trust.
  • Teaming Set aside ego for the good of the team. Lift others up.
  • Excellence Be your best, every day. Our customers come back because of it.
  • Kaizen Never stop improving. Small steady improvements create big results.
  • Perseverance Finish what you start, even when it's hard.
  • Awesomeness Enjoy your work and make it enjoyable for others. It's our culture.
Store Managers are evaluated against these values in every performance review and are expected to coach their teams against them daily. If these resonate with you, you'll fit right in.

This is a full-time, in-person position at our Mesa showroom 1346 W. Southern Ave, Mesa AZ 85202.

If you're tired of the big box grind and ready to run a store you're proud of apply now.
