  • Diagnose furniture issues, including mechanical, structural, and cosmetic problems.
  • Complete in-home and in-store repairs such as:
    • Part replacements
    • Cleaning and stain treatment
    • Minor upholstery work and reupholstery
    • Frame, spring, and mechanism repairs
    • Wood touch-ups, refinishing, and minor restoration
  • Document all findings, repairs, and parts used.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, store personnel, and the home office.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
  • Travel regularly within assigned service areas (company vehicle may be provided based on policy).
  • Previous experience in furniture repair, upholstery, woodworking, or a related skilled trade preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic ability.
  • Ability to lift and move furniture and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable traveling daily; clean driving record required.
