Facility Manager

Enjoy working for a family owned business that puts integrity, passion and pride into all of our work. Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc., has been a locally owned and operated company for over 70 years. We are searching for a full-time Facility Manager to oversee all of our locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee building and grounds maintenance for all PWS locations
  • Work closely with VP's to ensure that all buildings and grounds are well-functioning
  • Standard general contractor work such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, etc.
  • Schedule and direct large scale maintenance repairs/projects with any outside vendors
  • Monitors completed work by vendors and contractors by keeping an ongoing communication with them
  • Manages and reviews service contracts and utilities consumption to reduce costs
  • Maintains building regulations in accordance with state and local standards
  • Travel between PWS facilities as needed (Madison and Milwaukee)

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in facility management or another relevant field
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods and safety precautions related to facility management
  • Ability to physically work with your hands and power tools on a daily basis
  • Must be a motivated, well organized, detailed and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
  • A valid Wisconsin drivers license and/or CDL
