Job Title:             Arena Operations Dispatcher

Class:                    Part-time, Non- Exempt

Reports to:         Arena Security Manager

Location:             Arena

Pay: $22.00/hour

Summary:

The Arena Operations Dispatcher serves as a representative for small, medium, and large events in the Deer District.  This position demonstrates integrity and serves as a model representative for the Arena Operations Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls via radio transmission and phone lines, requiring quick independent action.
  • Connect with other departments through the use of radio transmissions and phone lines.
  • Process requests through ISS 24/7 system. Assign, update and closeout work as performed as well as ensure requests are addressed within a timely manner.
  • Assist the Arena Operations Department with oversight of event in the Control Center.

Qualifications:

  • Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work event nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Basic data processing and Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Basic knowledge of a two-way radio
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and handle stressful situation for short periods of time.
  • Experience in 24/7 system or similar program is required.
