The Mechanical Maintenance Technicianย is responsible forย troubleshooting, repairing, andย maintainingย mechanical systems and production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supports daily manufacturing activities by performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance, minimizing downtime, and improving equipment performance.ย
What you'll do:
- Troubleshoot and repair issues on machine tools and production equipmentย
- Perform mechanical maintenance on production machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical componentsย
- Execute preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtimeย
- Partner with the technical team to ensure safe, reliable operationsย
- Support continuous improvement and equipment optimization initiativesย
What you'll have:
- Technical training or apprenticeship inย Mechanical Maintenance, Industrialย Maintenanceย or relatedย fieldsย
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment (machine tools preferred)ย
- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skillsย
- Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc preferred)ย
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)ย
- Strong teamwork and communication skillsย
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous learningย
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as neededย
Additional Information:
- Location: Waukesha, WI
- Work Schedule: Onsite Monday through Friday
- Travel: ย This role will require an initial trip of approximately 3-5 months to Jenbach, Austria for training and to establish relationships with the peers.
