Job Title: RN Infusion

License: Licensure as a Registered Nurse required
Certifications: ONS chemo/immunotherapy certificate required
Must-Have: Oncology Nurse certification (OCN) required after 2 years of hire or after reaching 2,000 hours of oncology nursing practice. Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
Description:
Outpatient chemo infusion experience is required.
The RN provides patient-centered care that includes chemotherapy administration, patient education, care planning, symptom management, and coordination of outpatient services.
The RN works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team in providing high-quality care to address the complex care issues of patients and their caregivers.
The RN practices according to ANA and ONS standards of care.
This position reports to the Clinical Nursing Manager and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required; BSN preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
The ability to practice independently and as a team member is required.
Knowledge of basic computer skills is required.
The ability to maintain patient confidentiality is required.
The ability to communicate effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and family members is required.
BLS certification is required.
