Job description

Position Summary:

The Drywall Stocking Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the drywall stocking department. This role includes supervising associates, coordinating deliveries with customers and vendors, ensuring efficient job-site operations, and promoting a culture centered on safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, schedule, and lead a team of approximately 20-35 associates.
  • Coordinate job-site deliveries with customers, Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), vendors, and field associates to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Accurately calculate and apply stocking charges to customer orders.
  • Prepare stocking and labor bids for upcoming projects in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping for associates.
  • Conduct regular job-site visits to ensure safe work practices, productivity, and compliance with company standards.
  • Support compliance efforts related to prevailing wage and certified payroll projects.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing company policies, procedures, and applicable legal regulations.
  • Report all accidents involving personnel, drivers, or company equipment promptly and accurately.
  • Inspect trucks and trailers to ensure safe operating conditions and regulatory compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
  • Experience in construction, building materials, or job-site stocking preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Clean three-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required

The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $42,900.00 to $54,600.00 annually. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
