Job description

JOB SUMMARY: To supervise, coordinate and train employees assigned to multiple contract locations. This position will oversee quality control, logistical procedures and review timecards while managing safety and accountability.
*Open availability including weekends required
Direct Reports: Janitors, Lead Janitors and Floor Techs

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Punctual and dependable attendance.
  • Assign tasks to Janitorial workers.
  • Ensure timely response to customer request and notify of completion.
  • Ensure quality of work.
  • Ensure adequate equipment and supplies are available.
  • Coordinate cleaning tasks and ensure that they meet customer's standards.
  • Inspect completed tasks and ensure that they meet customer's standards.
  • Complete necessary paperwork as specified by the Project Manager.
  • Monitor supplies and proper usage of equipment.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and employees.
  • Track employee hours ensuring that accurate information is reported to the Finance department.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.
  • Attend training as necessary.
  • Complete and forward incident reports and accident reports to HR as needed.
  • Follows, enforces and provides training to ensure that all safety rules and regulations are followed. Completes and submits any necessary forms and/or reports immediately when an incident occurs.
  • Develop cooperative communication with intradepartmental peers.
  • Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED, preferred.
  • 2 years supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Must pass OSBI/DOC background check.
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and Car Insurance Verification, required.
  • Must pass MVR check and maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
  • Reliable transportation and communication, required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Works in a climate-controlled environment most of the time but may be exposed to dusts, molds and dirt which performing job duties.
  • Works a variable schedule as needed for business operations which may include days, evenings, weekends and holidays which may vary week to week Moderate noise level.
  • Works 40 hours per week or more when required
