Job description

The Janitorial Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business development within the commercial cleaning and facility services sector. This role focuses on engaging decision-makers, identifying janitorial service opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle-from prospecting to closing. The ideal candidate brings prior experience selling janitorial or facility services and understands how to position service quality, compliance, and value to clients.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission, rewarding high-performing, results-driven sales professionals who excel in generating new business and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities specifically within commercial cleaning and janitorial services.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, site walkthroughs, proposals, and closing.
  • Conduct facility assessments to evaluate client needs, scope cleaning specifications, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with property managers, facility directors, and business owners.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that highlight service quality, compliance, safety standards, and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare accurate proposals, pricing models, and service agreements.
  • Maintain consistent prospecting activity (minimum 20 hours per week) to build and sustain a strong pipeline.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track pipeline activity, maintain account data, and manage follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service execution.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience in janitorial, facility services, or related industries (REQUIRED)
  • Proven success in closing service-based contracts and building long-term client relationships
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Janitorial scopes of work
    • Cleaning specifications and frequency models
    • Facility operations and maintenance needs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Hunter mindset with a track record of generating new business
  • Experience conducting onsite walkthroughs and translating needs into proposals
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel to client sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling multi-site or national janitorial contracts
  • Existing network in property management, healthcare, education, or industrial sectors
  • Familiarity with ISSA standards, OSHA compliance, or green cleaning programs
