Job description

Human Resources Professional

Alimak Group USA is seeking an entry to mid-level Human Resources professional for our headquarters in Webster, Texas. This position will assist the Human Resources Generalist and the Director of People & Culture with a variety of human resources and payroll functions. ADP experience is required. Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain all electronic files in ADP and on the Shared Drive
  • Copy, print, scan, mail/ship various items and file as needed
  • Maintain accuracy of documents' naming conventions
  • Assist with onboarding, off-boarding, VOE, unemployment claims, worker's comp claims, FMLA, background screening, drug testing, I-9s, COBRA, job descriptions, and all other HR functions
  • Assist with the processing of multi-state bi-weekly payroll
  • Maintain certified payroll and union tables in ADP
  • Assist with state taxes including but not limited to: notices, filings, deposits, and account changes
  • Assist with the administration of benefits
  • Reconcile monthly benefit bills
  • Responsible for coding all HR related invoices/bills
  • Assist with the recruitment process
  • Create and maintain various spreadsheets and reports
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and other HR related inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business is preferred
  • 1-2 years of payroll experience is preferred
  • 1-2 years of human resources experience is preferred
  • Certified payroll experience is a plus
  • Understanding of human resources and payroll compliance
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Possess strong ethical standards regarding the handling of confidential information
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
  • Computer proficiency MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required
  • ADP WFN experience is required
  • This is an in-person role Monday through Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)
