Position Summary At Palmetto Moon, our Sales Associates are the face of the brand, creating a warm, genuine, and customer-focused shopping experience. The Morning Stock Processing Sales Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the sales floor is stocked, organized, and ready for business each day. This position is responsible for processing incoming merchandise, replenishing product, maintaining backroom organization, and providing sales floor coverage and customer service support as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Processing & Operational Support

  • Receive, unpack, sort, and prepare incoming merchandise for the sales floor in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ticket, sensor, fold, hang, and organize merchandise according to company standards.
  • Replenish merchandise to the sales floor to maintain a full, shopable, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Maintain neat, organized, and safe stockroom areas.
  • Assist with markdowns, transfers, damages, and inventory-related tasks as assigned.
  • Support store opening readiness by ensuring priority areas are stocked and presentation-ready.
  • Customer Service & Sales Floor Coverage
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with product selection when coverage is needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of in-store brands and confidently communicate product features and benefits.
  • Maintain visible presence on the sales floor to support customer experience and shortage prevention.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently when needed.
  • Assist with fitting rooms, recovery, merchandising, and overall store cleanliness.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work collaboratively with fellow associates and leadership to achieve daily store goals.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and management.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Dependable with strong punctuality, especially for early morning shifts.
  • Customer-focused with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and stand for extended periods of time.
