Job description

We have an immediate opening for a Sales and Replenishment Analyst with specific experience in servicing our Walmart account. This role is primarily responsible for driving sales via analytics in conjunction with the sales team. This role also works with Operations to ensure an adequate supply of inventory and raw materials to deliver future orders on time and in full.
The duties of this role include:
  • Create data driven sales strategies pre- and post-sale in partnership with the sales team. These will include but not be limited to:
    • Identify and analyze retail sales trends at the item level. Use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets.
    • Maintain and create standard retail sales reporting via Retail Link and internal systems.
    • Identify key marketplace factors that impact demand and sales, providing recommendations for solutions.
    • Support preparation of presentations when needed for sales meetings.
  • Standard replenishment, forecasting, and planning duties to include but not limited to:
    • Create and maintain standard supply chain reporting via Retail Link (i.e., Weeks of Supply, In-stocks, DC Outs, etc.).
    • Manage corrective actions for supply chain (i.e. Inventory levels, lead times, In-stock %'s, DC outs, Shortages, Root Cause etc.).
    • Work with internal factory team to create and manage seasonal pipeline supply strategies to ensure adequate forecasting and planning to maintain in-house inventory and safety stock levels for promotional orders, replenishment orders, and ensure processing in a timely manner.
    • Manage new item launches and item transitions with Walmart Replenishment and Planning teams.
    • Understand Walmart ordering and shipping patterns and utilize the information to build effective forecasts.
    • Create store level order recommendations based on in stock analysis and lost sales calculations.
  • Work with Walmart transportation team as needed to help maintain smooth and on time execution to alleviate shipping errors and chargebacks and to maintain OTIF compliance.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and administrative duties as needed to support the Walmart account.
