Our technology starts with you. We have an opportunity for talented individuals to join our Quality team at our Santa Clara (San Francisco Bay Area) CA office as a Field Quality Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the highest levels of quality in our products and services. Responsibilities: Clarifying with the customer any problems identified and resolving any quality concerns while collaborating with the relevant ST teams or divisions.

Identifying any quality concern and escalating the issues as needed. Visiting the customer regularly to discuss quality topics, enhance the relationship and follow up on open quality issues. Working with ST division and manufacturing product quality and relaying any elements necessary to meet customer needs.

Monitoring and promoting commitments made to the customer (Cycle time analysis, request response time, PPM, etc.). Gathering, consolidating and exploiting information coming from and going to the customer, and routing it to the relevant internal source (Division, Service Quality, etc.). Escalating to manager any matters that can lead to a critical situation with the customer

Monitoring the quality performance of ST at the customer's, based on standard indicators (PPM, KPIs, etc.). Sharing the customer's evaluation of ST with the appropriate division (i.e.: Scorecards) and requesting that corrective actions are put in place where necessary. Working in conjunction with Sales, Customer Service and Technical Marketing who deal with the same customer(s)

Ensuring good communication/collaboration with the Product Quality Group/Logistics/Central functions/manufacturing sites. Profile: BS Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Engineering. 10 years of relevant experience.

Effectively interacts with others, establishing open, candid and trusting relationships. Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Excellent negotiating and relationship management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy. SiC knowledge is preferred. Semiconductor knowledge is preferred.

Basic Knowledge of Data Centers framework and architecture. At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base annual salary range for this role is between $ 151,200 to 189,000 USD.
