Our technology starts with you. We are seeking a highly skilled MEMS Device/Design engineer to join our MEMS R&D team. This role emphasizes MEMS device engineering, while maintaining strong engagement in device design and performance optimization for MEMS devices such as inertial and pressure sensors.

The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of fabrication processes, device modeling and validation to deliver high-performance MEMS products. This role will be based out of ST's office in Chandler Arizona. Key Responsibilities Support device/technology integration and design to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and high yield Establish and maintain technology design rules and ensure alignment with design requirements Drive iterative cycles between simulation, fabrication, and characterization Incorporate process variation and non-idealities into device modeling and design decisions Perform simulation and/or analysis using tools such as JMP, ANSYS, COMSOL, and MATLAB/Simulink Required Qualifications MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field 2+ years of industry experience in MEMS, with focus on MEMS device, technology integration, design and/or interactions Proven track record in developing and transferring MEMS design and technologies into production Solid understanding of MEMS device physics Experience working across design-process interfaces and manufacturability optimization Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in cross-disciplinary teams Preferred Experience Background in device/technology development, MEMS design, yield improvement, and/or reliability engineering Proficiency in data analysis and/or multi-physics simulation tools (JMP, COMSOL, ANSYS, etc.) Knowledge of DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis for process optimization At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
