Role Overview This outstanding opportunity allows technically-minded engineers to broaden their system engineering skills and application knowledge, while gaining sales and marketing experience. Our vibrant and dynamic team-oriented work environment offers exposure to a variety of state-of-the art applications technology each day.

As a member of our team you will play a key role in securing ST customer commitments and win business by working remotely and on-site with customers in support of their engineering teams, who are developing a variety of applications. The primary area of focus will be image sensors and Time-of-Flight applications across a range of industries, type of applications. In addition to work experience, and technical experience in Imaging, the individual must have an excellent theoretical background that includes: basic of optics, knowledge of microcontroller (with some micro's programming experience) is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in Camera module development. Experience in Optical system performance evaluation (MTF, lens shading, distortion). Experience in Imaging devices.

Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align proper product offering to end customer opportunities. Automotive knowledge is a plus. Experience in project management is a plus.

Use competitive knowledge to tailor feedback to marketing/R&D for new product development. Participate in ST technical conferences and customer training sessions (seminars/workshops). Hardware troubleshooting skills are needed using an oscilloscope, logic analyzers, and signal generators.

Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's Level Degree (Master's Level Degree preferred) plus a minimum of 6 years' experience. This role can be based in either Livonia, MI, or Santa Clara, CA, with Livonia as the primary location.

At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
