Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded AUTOSAR Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in Automotive Embedded Software Development and AUTOSAR architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and validating AUTOSAR-based software solutions for next-generation automotive ECUs. The role requires strong hands-on experience in Classic AUTOSAR, embedded C programming, MCAL integration, ECU configuration, and automotive communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Embedded Software solutions based on AUTOSAR architecture.
  • Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules and MCAL drivers.
  • Develop Application Layer components and AUTOSAR SWCs using Embedded C.
  • Perform ECU integration, configuration, debugging, and software bring-up activities.
  • Work on AUTOSAR stack integration including COM, DCM, DEM, CANIF, PDUR, EcuM, NvM, WdgM, and OS modules.
  • Configure AUTOSAR tools such as Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer, EB Tresos, ISOLAR, or ETAS tools.
  • Develop and maintain software requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
  • Participate in software architecture reviews, code reviews, and root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with system, hardware, validation, and functional safety teams.
  • Support integration and testing activities including SIL, HIL, and vehicle-level validation.
  • Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, MISRA C, and OEM development standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.
  • Strong expertise in AUTOSAR Classic Platform architecture and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR BSW and MCAL configuration.
  • Strong programming skills in Embedded C and good understanding of C++.
  • Experience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS, and diagnostic protocols.
  • Expertise in Vector tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, DaVinci Configurator/Developer.
  • Experience with EB Tresos, ETAS ISOLAR, or equivalent AUTOSAR tools.
  • Strong debugging experience using Lauterbach, JTAG, Oscilloscope, or Trace tools.
  • Good understanding of RTOS concepts and microcontrollers such as Infineon, NXP, Renesas, or TI.
  • Experience in software integration, bootloader, memory stack, and device drivers.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity concepts is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
