Description: C-TEC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) Instructor to join our team and help train the next generation of healthcare professionals. This position is ideal for someone passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a high-quality learning environment for students pursuing certification as sterile processing technicians.
Responsibilities:
  • Teach sterile processing technician courses to students in accordance with established curriculum and industry standards.
  • Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to ensure students gain the knowledge and skills necessary for the Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) exam.
  • Instruct students on sterile processing techniques, equipment, safety protocols, infection control practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and support students in achieving course objectives.
  • Maintain and update course content as needed to ensure alignment with current industry practices, regulations, and certification requirements.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for students, promoting professional development and career success.
Qualifications/ Licensure:
  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) certification from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working as a sterile processing technician in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred but not required.
