Job Title: Supervisor – Sterile Processing
Location: Loxahatchee, FL
Job Type: Full-Time | Days (No Weekends)
Compensation: $20.00 – $28.50/hr + Relocation Assistance up to $5,000


Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee daily sterile processing operations and ensure the safe decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment. This leadership role focuses on staff supervision, quality assurance, infection control compliance, and operational efficiency to support high-quality patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily sterile processing department workflow and staff operations.
  • Oversee decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission (JC), OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and infection control standards.
  • Monitor and validate sterilization testing and quality control procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and support sterile processing staff development.
  • Maintain instrument inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments to ensure timely instrument availability.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and departmental efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sterile processing experience required.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection prevention, and automated sterilization systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
