Your Role on the Team
The STEM Learning Lab Research Assistant will work under the general supervision of the Lab Manager on various research projects performing standard and complex laboratory procedures. Specifically, the Research Assistant will be responsible for data entry, data cleaning and deidentification, and data analysis, applying standard quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of data collection and results. The research assistant will also attend weekly meetings with the lab manager to ensure tasks are being completed on time.

  • Initiates and ensures compliance with applicable data collection procedures
  • Responsible, reliable, and punctual
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Possesses attention to accuracy and detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

Preferred:
  • Reliable transportation
  • Bilingual: Spanish
  • Experience in statistics and/or programming
