  • A/V & Media Integration (20%): Maintain, optimize, and future-proof advanced displays, integrated media platforms, and specialized hardware within the Data Visualization Lab.
  • Strategic ITS Partnership (15%): Serve as the primary academic liaison to ITS. Co-author technical specifications and hardware/software requirements to ensure central IT infrastructure aligns with advanced computing and visualization needs.
  • Faculty Consultation (10%): Partner with CS and Data Analytics faculty to seamlessly integrate new technical tools, specialized software, and advanced A/V workflows into the curriculum.
  • Systems Administration (10%): Oversee accounts, user permissions, and secure connections to high-speed computing resources and specialized support software
  • Campus Technology Scaling (10%): Act as a strategic advisor for campus building updates, designing blueprints to scale advanced media and data reasoning tools into other university learning spaces.
  • Documentation & Training (5%): Author user-friendly "Quick-Start" guides and documentation for specialized lab equipment and software; conduct hands-on training sessions for students and faculty.
  • Software Maintenance (5%): Partner with ITS to ensure all Computer Science and Data Analytics software packages are properly licensed, updated, and fully functional.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated expertise in programming language environment management and troubleshooting across multiple operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux).
  • Experience with professional A/V systems and integrated classroom technologies (preferably Extron).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for a diverse academic audience.

Preferred Requirements:
