Job description

Seeking a candidate who is excited about opportunities in STEM and technology for students, would like to work in a new STEM lab space, enjoys collaborating with peers, desires to inspire students to create, problem solve, and think critically in a supportive Catholic Christian environment.


Responsibilities include by are not limited to the following:

*Teach K–8 STEM/Technology classes.

*Participate in professional development in STEM and implement curriculum for STEM and Technology as needed.

*Teach digital literacy, citizenship, coding, and AI skills.

*Collaborate with classroom teachers across the curriculum.

*Support and train faculty and staff.

*Troubleshoot devices and classroom technology.

*Manage accounts, devices, and software.

*Maintain technology inventory and equipment.

*Support testing and school technology needs.

*Promote safe and responsible technology use.


Qualifications:

*Desire to work in a new STEM lab and collaborate with trainers and peers to implement new curriculum K-8

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

*K–8 teaching experience preferred.

*Strong technology and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to learn new programs and platforms as needed.

*Knowledge of educational technology tools.

*Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365.

*Knowledge of digital safety and data privacy.

*Familiarity with coding, STEM, robotics, and AI.

*Strong communication and collaboration skills.

*Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.

*Ability to balance teaching and technology support.
