Job Summary:
This position is a Supervisor of STEAM Grades 6-12
Qualifications:



  • Master's Degree in STEAM field with extensive coursework in education
  • New Jersey Certificate - Teacher of STEAM Content Area K-12
  • New Jersey Certificate Supervisor
  • Demonstrated communication skill
  • Demonstrated leadership talent and abilities
  • Minimum five years' successful teaching/administrative experience as STEAM Supervisor preferred
  • Knowledge of secondary education curriculum/programs
  • Demonstrate excellent initiative and personal integrity
  • Experience in STEAM Programming
  • Prior experience working with teachers, students and families and STEM/STEAM themes
  • Advanced skills in the use of computers and computing devices, interactive whiteboards, G-Suite and other cloud-based applications, Virtual and Augmented Reality, coding, spreadsheets, data-bases, a variety of educational software programs, and any other new and emerging technologies that may have appropriate applications for STEAM education.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
  • Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively
  • Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or legal resident alien status
