About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral part of our care team, owning patient relationships and quarter backing a collaborative care plan that drives meaningful impact in our patients' lives. We're looking for a teammate who is an innate people person, loves helping others, and has a knack for tenacious problem solving.

This is an in office role, supporting our clinic in Starbase, TX. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm CT with occasional evenings until 8pm CT.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Triage & Assessment: Evaluate acutely ill patients in-person or via phone. Take vital signs, record health histories, and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Patient Education: Teach patients how to manage chronic conditions (like diabetes or high blood pressure). Explain medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes.
  • Care Coordination: Review patient data to make sure routine check-ups, cancer screenings, and preventive tests are completed on time. Handle prior authorizations and coordinate referrals.
  • Clinic Procedures: Assist doctors with exams and in-office procedures, perform phlebotomy, administer vaccines, and give injections.

Leveraging both your intrapersonal relationship skills as well as technical clinical skills, you are most fulfilled when you are improving the lives of your patients and bettering your community.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:

  • Licensed RN with 2+ years experience doing clinical triage
  • Pediatric and acute care or inpatient experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Reliable access to personal transportation
  • Strong people skills and the ability to connect with anyone
  • Creative problem-solving skills that can be leveraged to empower others and impeccable organizational skills that foster reliability and trustworthiness for colleagues and patients alike
  • Strong communication skills, especially the ability to translate complex ideas into simple language

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, maintaining tight organization and a self-starter mentality

Compensation: $39 per hour. This is a full-time role and is eligible for benefits.
