For the past 80+ years, M&D has led the aftermarket in remanufacturing innovation to address technological advancements and changing customer needs. In the past few decades, we have expanded beyond our remanufacturing roots to develop close (and sometimes exclusive) partnerships with the world’s leading OEMs and manufacturers.


Those partnerships with key suppliers like Bosch, Garrett, Federal Mogul, Cummins, Stanadyne, Holset, BorgWarner, Delphi, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Denso and others have been critical in honing our remanufacturing capabilities and expanding our parts offering to include new, no core options in fuel injectors and fuel pumps, diesel engine cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts and connecting rods. M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts.

Position Summary


The Diesel Technician is responsible for completing maintenance and repairs of vehicles, equipment, and engines.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use various hand tools,power tools, torque wrenches, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Provide technicalexpertiseto vehicles and equipment.
  • Overhaul of gas and diesel engines.
  • Installation of various components like fuel injectors, turbos, and the like.
  • Perform DOT inspections.
  • Perform intake inspection of all vehicles and equipment.
  • Ability to perform service calls with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
  • Maintains a clean work environment.
  • Performs otherduties asassigned by supervisor.


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a technician role.
  • Technicians must provide their owntools, like torque wrenches, power tools, hand tools up to 1 ½ inch,andPressure Gauges. M&D provides specialty tools.
  • Experience performing service calls preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;Tech school appreciated.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Follow all safety policies.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
