Position Summary

Winholt Equipment is seeking a Stainless-Steel Manufacturing Supervisor – 2nd Shift to oversee operations within our Stainless-Steel Department. This role is responsible for supervising production associates and ensuring shift priorities are met safely, efficiently, and with consistent quality.

This position is ideal for a hands‐on manufacturing supervisor who enjoys leading teams, maintaining production flow, and partnering with leadership to ensure seamless shift‐to‐shift continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise second shift production associates
  • Lead daily production meetings and communicate shift priorities
  • Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and attendance standards are met
  • Assign and monitor workloads, adjusting resources as needed
  • Collaborate with 1st shift supervisors to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Track production performance using KPIs and operational metrics
  • Partner with HR on staffing, training, and performance management
  • Coach, mentor, and develop associates while identifying leadership potential
  • Address attendance and punctuality issues promptly
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and safety
  • Monitor PPE usage and ensure compliance with safety policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and people‐management skills
  • Experience in metal fabrication or a related industry preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast‐paced environment
