Job Summary 


The Production Manager is responsible for the successful operations of a book of business, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. This role is responsible for safety, productivity, quality control, crew training, and equipment allocation.

This position reports to the Branch Manager and works closely with the Client Relationship Manager to guarantee complete client satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Safety - Ensure that all safety policies of company are enforced
  • Foster a collaborative environment to enhance teamwork and problem-solving 
  • Monitor Daily Crew Performance to meet quality expectations and company standards
  • Interview, hire, supports recruiting, training and development of staff
  • Manage Morning Dispatch and End of Day shutdown
  • Help identify labor, equipment and subcontractor needs
  • Perform site audits and create "issues" to ensure high quality
  • Communicate with the Client Relations Manager to ensure the scope of work meets a high standard of quality
  • Job Start Process- Work with sales and Client Relationship Manager's to carry out proper new job set up
  • Drive productivity and efficiencies 
  • Daily time review and accuracy
  • Manage Aspire and other integrated software systems
  • Manages irrigation systems
  • Conduct performance and compensation reviews in coordination with Human Resources 
  • Work with Human Resources to address promotions, demotions, corrective actions, terminations, personnel staffing and training needs
  • Anticipate and Evaluate Equipment Needs - Manage crew equipment inventory and repair issues
  • Monitor and request tool and supply needs
  • Ensure vehicles, equipment and yards are kept clean and well maintained
  • Develop service schedules for crews
  • Demonstrates the ability to successfully manage a medium-sized portfolio business and/or large property or properties
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate a high volume and complexity of teams

Physical Requirements

  •  Prolonged periods standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing ladders, kneeling, and pulling.
  •  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  •  Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
  •  Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  •  Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
